This is one of those rare songs that's mostly fiction. I'd experienced the situations that the lyric describes, but not necessarily in the same sequence, or with the same person...
Also it's a song about something (or someone) that delivers a good buzz, brings a smile to da face :) 'now' is what's important, not the past or the future
